Seminar 1: Approaching the History of Social Relations in England, 1500-1640

Andy Wood will be talking about how historians grapple with early modern social relations, including the junction between his recent book, Faith, Hope and Charity: English Neighbourhoods, 1500-1640 (Cambridge, 2020), and his current project on ‘Letters of Blood and Fire: Authority and Resistance in England, 1500-1640’.
