About Race and the Premodern Period (RAPP)
Race and the Premodern Period (RAPP) takes as its core mission to build and support communities of students and scholars interested in Critical Race Studies, particularly its early premodern histories. We highlight the work of scholars working on premodern critical race studies, and we foster a conversation among faculty, and more importantly among the future generations of scholars working in these areas. RAPP began in 2019, and we are excited to have a second season of conversations and engagements.
