Mira Assaf Kafantaris is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at the Ohio State University. In addition to many public facing essays, Dr. Kafantaris is completing an academic book manuscript, titled Royal Marriage, Foreign Queens, and Constructions of Races in the Early Modern Periods. She is also co-editing a Special Issue of Barnard Center of Research on Women’s The Scholar and Feminist Online, titled Race-ing Queens.
