WEBINAR: Early Medieval Identities, Seminar 4: Mary Rambaran-Olm
The final of four seminars in the 2021 Early Medieval Identities seminar series.
Mary Rambaran-Olm, "Riddles in the Dark: Hadrian's Lost Contributions to Early England."
The final of four seminars in the 2021 Early Medieval Identities seminar series will be given by • Mary Rambaran-Olm.
Dr Rambaran-Olm is a Provost's Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of English at the University of Toronto where she works on early medieval England and race. Her research examines the many contributions of non-white people in early England, despite it often figuring in scholarship as a uniformly white period, and contributes to larger conversations about race and the global Middle Ages.
The seminar will be hosted on Zoom. A link will be sent by email to all participants on the Monday before the seminar.
The series is organised by Megan Cavell & Neville Mogford (University of Birmingham) and Jennifer Neville (Royal Holloway, University of London) as part of the AHRC-funded Group Identity and the Early Medieval Riddle Tradition project. For more details, please contact Megan Cavell ([email protected]) or Neville Mogford ([email protected]).
