Assistant Professor, Boston University
The Department of History at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the history of European imperialism, colonialism, and/or decolonisation, pending budgetary approval. We welcome candidates specialising in either the early modern or modern period, and this position is geographically open. Scholars working on the European imperial presence in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and South/East Asia are particularly encouraged to apply.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate core courses and in fields of specialisation.
