
Lecturer in Archives and Records Management at University of Liverpool
You will contribute to the delivery and development of programmes at the Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies (LUCAS), Department of History. The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the small and active Archives and Records Management team, and contribute to teaching and administration as required.
A professional qualification in Archives and Records Management and professional experience is essential. Preference may be given to candidates with PhDs and those with proven research interest in one or more of the following areas: Records Management; Digital Record-keeping; International Record-keeping; Medieval and Latin Palaeography; Digital Humanities; Heritage Studies; History (especially history of record-keeping).
An ability to contribute to distance-learning provision is essential. Experience of teaching at postgraduate level in Higher Education and experience of course design are desirable. The post is available on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2021.
