Lecturer in Comparative Literature Education (AEP), King's College London

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at King’s College London seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Comparative Literature (Academic Education Pathway), with a starting date of 1 September 2023. This will be a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Applicants should have submitted a PhD in a relevant field of literature by time of application. Expertise in Arabic and French literatures and in literary theory may be an advantage. The successful candidate will have relevant experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. They will have a publication record appropriate to their career stage.

The successful candidate will teach on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules and contribute to assessment and examination processes. They will additionally be expected to supervise BA and MA dissertations as appropriate. They will take on an administrative role in the department and contribute to the pastoral care of students.
