The Center for Africana Studies at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor who researches African Diaspora populations and focuses on migration, health, and citizenship. Candidate’s work should deeply engage black feminisms, sexuality, and/or black queer studies. They seek applications from scholars using the approaches of the social sciences, with a preference for scholars trained in Africana/Black studies. The successful candidate will hold an appointment in Africana Studies and the department most closely related to their research and training.
